Those who enjoy savouring beancurd together with youtiao (deep-fried dough) should drop by Yong He Beancurd eating house. It serves delicious crispy youtiao that goes perfectly with a bowl of hot/cold beancurd.
We were around the area for a meal and crave for some light hot/cold desserts... beancurd, so we decided to head to Yong He instead of Selegie which was quite far.
This would probably be my 4th time visiting this cafe and I still prefer the beancurd at Selegie. It is much silkier but their youtiao is definitely not as good as the Yong He. Come to think of it, been a long time since i patronise the Selegie beancurd. I wonder if they maintain their standard.
Besides their specialities, Yong He served Dim sums and other small dishes. Have not tried most of the tim sums yet because we are a frequent customers of 126 DIM SUM and Swee Choon. Hmmm..
