Top #5 must watch Romantic Comedy!

We love to browse through the good old movies. So, here it is, our list of top #5 romantic comedies that we have enjoyed so far.

#1 Wedding Crashers (2005)

Wedding Crashers. Watch more top selected videos about: Wedding Crashers, Vince Vaughn

Director: David Dobkin
Starring: Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams
Duration: 119mins

We agreed that the Wedding Crasher (2005) is the best romantic comedy we had ever watched. This love comedy is about with two long time friends, John and Jeremy (Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn) who works together in a law firm that mediate divorce cases. Both of them share similar hobbies, that is, they are womanizers. Here comes the wedding season. Both committed, professional wingmans took advantage of the 'love is in the air' to crash into every wedding and try to seduce the bridemaids. However, they found themselves falling in love with a girl each.

The wedding crasher will definitely make you laugh out loud and off your chair.

A day after arriving at the resort, the rest found out that it was'nt a vacation package afterall, but a marriage therapy program. 'LL'. You will have to watch this to find out those hilarious and outrageous things that happened.

Sidetrack abit, we went to check out the actual location where this film was shot. It is actually St. Regis Resort at Bora Bora islands. This Paradise on earth smacked right in the middle of pacific ocean, 'google earth' it and you will understand what I'm trying to say.

Last on our list is 500 days of Summer. This movie is about a guy falling in love with a girl who does'nt believe in true love. The storyboard has a unique concept as it was played backwards counting back from day 500. We kind of not like the ending but it was a good movie overall. :)

Good old Ice Creams

Red bean, Chendol, Yam, Pulat hitam, Chempedak, Durian and feeling Corny. I recalled it was wrapped in paper back then and it cost only 50cents per stick. Now, you pay for the same price but a smaller version as compared to previous. It shrunk !

Alright, I would not go into how much our purchasing power has shorten the ice cream over the years. Its definitely a worth buy ice-cream. We love this ice cream.

Personally my favourite is chendol, while Mel thinks every flavor is awesome. I have to force her to pick one, so finally with much reluctant she chose red bean. Well, i love red bean too. :) Such a reminisce for the good old time.

National Vertical Marathon 2011

National Vertical Marathon 2011 was held at One Raffles Place for the 13th year. It was definitely one of a kind Lover's Challenge experience for both of us.
It was said that 'Climbing is the act of using one's hands and feet to ascend a steep object'. It came across to me as a simple task to climb up the flight of stairs, but NO easy feat my friends.

Our race time was 1430 and every 5 mins interval, they will released a couple up the stairs. Initially, I thought I could make it to at least 40 storeys non-stop, but what guess what, I barely reached 20 storeys and my legs crumble. Edmund had to carry me on his back thrice. Poor him.  Overall, it was a romantic and challenging race to complete in order to reach the top!! We received a finisher medal, loads of goodies and certificate of achievement! Most importantly, it was a great experience that we both shared together.  :)

* Edmund's favorite line: Two steps and two steps, swing ur arms, swing ur arms, big stride come on big stride ! :)

Our 1st Malaysia Drive in Trip!!

This is our very first drive in road trip to Malaysia and all thanks to our good friend Kelvin for lending us his vehicle GPS. We invited Brian, his girlfriend Xinyi, and also Yan jun to join us in our virgin drive-in.

We met up at about 1330 at paya lebar and figured our way to our first stop in JB, City Square. Traffic and clearing the custom was smooth and we made it to JB about 1430. We were pretty confident of the route to City square mall but somehow, smart alek like us reached the shopping mall and went to the wrong side of the road and kalua which means 'exit' in malay to the main road. How idiot huh?! We made one big round, but thanks to our saviour 'GPS', finally reached our destination!!!!!!!

We head straight to level 4 'Tung Chen' a crowded small cafe for lunch. We ordered what seems quite popular there the 'Tom yum mini hotpot chicken', which tasted slightly sweeter that normal sweet sour soup base. It was good for a price of 8.90rm. We also had 'french butter toast' and also ice Chendol desserts to go along. It was a good start !

One of our frequent visit would be the 'Watson' shop where most products are valued at half price. We shopped for about 4hrs and finally had caramel banana and toffee nut ice-cream from Mac. We left the mall around 830pm and head straight for dinner!

We have finally reached our main objective of the day, makan SEAFOOD, located at Taman Sentosa !!! There are several restaurants and based on friends recommendations, we decided to go to Hiang Kee restaurant and ordered 6 dishes namely:
1.Salted Egg Crab,
2.Shuang Wei Fish (White cord steam and fried fish)
3.Stir Fried Sweet Potato Leaf
4.Meng Gu Pork Ribs

5.Hei Po (Deep-fry butter clayfish)
6.Hotplate Bean Curd

In fact, all the dishes were simply awesome and the bill was outrageously CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! Per pax only $20 for a 6 course meal. VALUE FOR MONEY! After which, we went across the road for MORE and MORE FOOD.  We had lok lok (mini van selling various kind of finger-food stick) and 'King of Kings' Durian. Some say its is better that 'Cat of Kings' durians. The seed of the durian was as small as Bryan pinky. WOW! Thumbs up !!

.... and that's all folks for our virgin trip.
