We love Prawns! There are Har kow, Black pepper prawn, Cereal prawn, Prawn cracker and not forgetting Prawn noodle! This delectable bowl of giant prawn noodle can be found in the singapore's central food haven, Lavender food market. Did I mentioned 'GIANT', Yes! the prawns compared to those shrinking ones you find in ordinary prawn noodle is the defining factor. Each bowl of giant prawn noodle cost $5 and to some, it seems rather expensive.
This prawn noodle has the most succulent giant prawn we have ever tried. Every bite entice you for more of it. Indeed, as the signboard named 'BIG PRAWNS', but when it comes to the broth we felt that it is not as flavored as Beach Road prawn noodle at East Coast. For those who savour the soup of prawn noodles should patronise the outlet at siglap, while for those who can't do without the big juicy prawns, should try the one at Lavender Food Market !
